Timothy R. Veal, CPA, CFP® is a partner
in Nichols, Cauley and Associates, LLC's
Financial Institutions practice group.
This practice group represents national
and state chartered banks and acts as
a resource guide for BankAudit.net.
He is a frequent speaker at banking events. His topics have
included Sarbanes-Oxley, internal controls, regulatory requirements,
audit committee requirements, and other items of interest
for today's Community Banker.
Mr. Veal has extensive experience in matters
relating to the regulation of state and
federally chartered banks and savings
institutions, financial reporting, compliance
auditing and bank expansion. Mr. Veal’s
practice includes advising banks and other
financial institutions on matters regarding
regulatory compliance, tax matters, lending
and growth potential. In addition, Mr.
Veal assists banks and savings institutions
in strategic planning, organizational
issues, personnel evaluations and customer
service opportunities.
Mr. Veal received his accounting degree
from the University of Georgia and presently
serves on the boards of several professional
and civic organizations.
