This part establishes rules under which the Federal Reserve Bank (FRB) may extend credit to depository institutions and others. Includes monetary policy, supply of reserves and lending functions.

Regulation B- Equal Credit Opportunity Act
The purpose of this regulation is to promote the availability of credit to all creditworthy without regard basis to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, martial status, age, receipt of public assistance or the fact that the applicant has exercised any right under the Consumer Credit Protection Act.

Regulation C- Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA)
The purpose of this regulation implements the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) which is intended to provide regulators and the public with the loan data that can be used to determine whether banks are serving the credit housing needs of their communities. Loan Application Register (LAR) are required to be maintained by lenders as a mechanism to report the data. (12 CFR 203)

The purpose of this regulation is the implementation of the Electronic Fund Transfers Act. This Act established the basic rights, responsibilities and liabilities of customers and financial institutions who use electronic fund transfer services.

Regulation F- Interbank Liabilities
The purpose of this regulation is to limit the risk that the failure of a depository institution would pose to insured depository institutions. Policies and procedures are required to prevent excessive exposure to correspondent banks.

This regulation implements the Depository Institutions Management Interlock Act and fosters competition. Prohibit in an individual from acting as directors, officer, etc. of two nonaffiliated financial institutions, where management interlock would have an anticompetitive effect.

Regulation W- Restriction On Transactions Between Banks and Their Affiliates.
This is a proposed regulation under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act implementing Sections 23A and 23B of the Federal Reserve Act combining statutory restriction on transactions between banks and their affiliates. Original regulation repealed in 1952, dealt with Consumer Loan Terms. (12 CFR 223)

Regulation X- Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA)
Little use Regulation by Banks- FRB regulation which applies to borrowers obtaining credit within or outside the U.S. for the purpose of purchasing securities. (12 CFR 224)

Regulation Z- Truth In Lending Act
This regulation implements the Truth in Lending Act, the purpose is promote the informed use of consumers credit by requiring disclosures about terms and costs. The act establishes uniform methods for computing the costs of credit, for disclosing credit terms, and for resolving errors on certain types of credit accounts.

Regulation AA- Defines Unfair and Deceptive Credit Practices and Acts
This regulation addresses unfair and deceptive credit practices acts and consumer complaints. The Act requires disclosures to cosigners and others; forbids confessions of judgment, wage assignments, and prohibits the taking of nonpurchase money security interest in household goods.

Contains rules regarding exceptions to availability schedules, disclosures, payment of interest, and liability. Interfaces with Regulations J and UCC Article 4.

Regulation DD- Truth in Savings Act
This regulation enacts the Truth in Savings Act. This Act enables consumers to make informed decisions about accounts at depository institutions. The Act provides disclosure requirements and prescribes uniform methods for computing interest, disclosing terms, and advertising deposit accounts.

Regulation EE- Netting Eligibility for Financial Institutions
